Our Approach
Imagine a group where each person survived tremendous adversity: Spinal Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Post Partum Depression, Overwhelming Loss, Betrayal, Alcoholism and Addiction.
Now imagine each individual returning to a state of health, then being compelled to turn back and help another. That is the spirit behind the team of Point of Return, a non-profit organization.
The common thread that wove each of our lives is the overuse of prescription medications. The majority of our team have taken benzodiazepines, sleeping pills, antidepressants and painkillers, and have made the journey back to health. We are devoted to the welfare of others and firmly believe that innocent addiction has become a pervasive global issue that has affected us all.
Educate. Assist. Inspire. Recover.
Point of Return is dedicated to helping people regain their lives and are committed to making global change one person, one community, one country at a time.
Our philosophy,
“Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity”.

Our Mission
-
By transforming lives from the grip of prescription pill dependence, Point of Return inspires people to recover and pass the message of hope to another in need.
We firmly believe it isn’t enough to save only oneself. The use of prescription pills has skyrocketed and destroyed lives in its wake. It is our responsibility to heal and turn to help another. And thru this act of giving, our individual worlds expand, as does society at large.
Our Values
We believe the human body is miraculous and its natural symphony of chemicals is injured by the dependence to prescription pills. However, we know the body has an amazing capacity to heal itself and that is where we place our emphasis.
Our Commitment
To lovingly assist every willing person so each can escape the clutch of addiction and learn healthier alternatives. We are beacons of hope for others to follow.
Our Vision
Embracing these values, Point of Return will inspire our clients to celebrate and nurture their bodies and minds so that they can live prescription drug free.
Through research and education, we will confront the plague facing the global community. Our legacy is to protect future and current generations so each can grow to their full potential.
Our Promise
To lives by the words of Norman B. Rice,
“Dare to reach out your hand into the darkness, to pull another hand into the light”

Andrea Crocker, Co-FounderPOINT OF RETURN co-founder who had a epiphany and rose to the call. She enjoyed a lucrative career in the International Fashion Industry for over fifteen years, and yet after meeting Alesandra Rain, Andrea felt compelled to leave the world of fashion to co-found POINT OF RETURN. The over-prescribing of behavioral medication touched Andrea’s world when at the age of 19 she developed panic attacks from years of working long hours and eating a poor diet. She sought the help of her physician, who recommended implementing exercise and improving her diet, but who also prescribed Xanax which Andrea never took - her personal belief drove her to seek healthier alternatives. However, other members of her family took psychoactive medications with disastrous results. Andrea realized that she could have easily followed the path of Alesandra, and recognized that her purpose in life was to help all those suffering the effects of prescription pill dependence. She left fashion immediately. More...
